GET TO KNOW THE FACE (AND MIRROR) BEHIND THE EDIT

WHO IS KATHLEEN & WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE?

 

In case the header wasn't obvious, I'm Kathleen (hi!) and I'll be the curator of all the words, thoughts, and rants on this section of the oh-so-cayuuute Valentina Boutique. My IG bio says that I'm "98% espresso", which is the quickly and easy way to describe myself. Believe it or not, I'm more than my coffee drinking habits (or addiction?).
 
Let's start by getting the generic facts about me out of the way:

1. Full name: Kathleen Da Silveira-Pereira (my parents really blessed me with that last name) 
2. Age: 26 (soon-to-be 27 in a few weeks...mixed feelings about that lol)
3. Astrology sign: Aries
4. Education: B.A. in Translation from Concordia, Gr. Dip. in Public Relations from McGill University 
5. Fave shows: SATC (pretending the reboot doesn't exist), Mad Men, The Sopranos
6. Fave movies: Pulp Fiction, Charade, Kill Bill (yeah I know, my movie taste is all over the place) 
7. Fave MTL resto: Damas by a landslide (a moment of silence for Le Bremner) 
8. Fave MTL coffee spots: Café Olimpico, Ferlucci, 49th Parallel (bonus: Valentina DUH, shoutout to René!)
9. Coffee order: macchiato or cappuccino 
10. Fave cocktail: a tie between an Old Fashioned and a Caipirinha 

I LOVE writing, but in all honesty, I literally panic at the thought of writing about myself, like I am right now. What I can say is that I'm as an extroverted introvert and a serial shopper who loves a good statement piece (and a good mirror pic to capture the look). The good news is that you'll indirectly learn more about me as I share more and more articles and I sincerely hope that I get to know you babes too!
